Lessons learned:

- Plan all you want -- the unexpected will happen. Mookie's Saturday not-our-vet visit was not the ideal situation, but our baby is feeling better and that's what matters!
- Mike's business expenses were irrelevant to my spending since they were reimbursed from his business account
